Are there Populations at Higher Risk for Naproxen Toxicity?
Certain populations are at greater risk for naproxen toxicity. These include elderly individuals, those with pre-existing renal or hepatic conditions, and patients with a history of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, individuals who consume alcohol excessively or use other NSAIDs concurrently may be at increased risk for adverse effects. Careful monitoring and dosage adjustments may be necessary for these populations.
