What are the Challenges in Toxicological Pathology?
One of the main challenges in toxicological pathology is distinguishing between normal biological variations and true pathological changes caused by toxicants. This requires a deep understanding of both normal anatomy and physiology as well as the potential effects of various toxic agents. Additionally, the increasing complexity of chemical exposures and the need for high-throughput screening methods to evaluate large numbers of compounds pose significant challenges for toxicological pathologists.
