Certain chemicals have been linked to an increased risk of NHL. These include benzene, a widely used industrial chemical, and pesticides, particularly those used in agriculture. Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), previously used in electrical equipment, have also been associated with NHL. Exposure to these chemicals can occur through occupational contact or environmental contamination.
