What are the Challenges in Implementing Bayesian Models?
Despite their advantages, the implementation of Bayesian models in toxicology poses several challenges. One major hurdle is the computational complexity, as these models often require sophisticated algorithms and significant computational resources. Another challenge is the elicitation of appropriate prior distributions, which requires expert knowledge and can be subjective. Additionally, there is a need for more training and education among toxicologists to effectively use Bayesian approaches.
