Vinblastine is a chemotherapy medication used to treat various types of cancer, such as Hodgkin's lymphoma, non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, and testicular cancer. Derived from the periwinkle plant, Catharanthus roseus, vinblastine belongs to the class of drugs known as vinca alkaloids, which inhibit cancer cell growth by disrupting microtubule formation during cell division.
