Treatment of inotropic agent toxicity depends on the specific agent involved and the severity of the symptoms. General measures include discontinuation of the offending drug and supportive care. For digoxin toxicity, digoxin-specific antibody fragments (Digibind) can be used to rapidly neutralize the drug's effects.
