Treatment for colchicine toxicity is mainly supportive. There is no specific antidote. Activated charcoal may be administered if the patient presents soon after ingestion. Supportive care includes fluid resuscitation, correction of electrolyte imbalances, and addressing multi-organ dysfunction. Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) may be used to treat colchicine-induced myelosuppression.
